Extremely disturbing seeing this in the @WJWeek by @EricSchucht. This rabbi was on my conversion court working with and under Barry Freundel. In the piece: “He says that he teaches an online conversion class.” Please, please be wary of him. There are two recognized and legitimate beit dins in the DC area - the RCA’s and one with Ohev Shalom. This man is a predator, full stop.
This is a very important statement that the RCA put out about the reestablishment of their DC court post-Freundel. That last paragraph is extremely relevant. In conclusion, do not meet this man in public or private for any reason: conversion, personal training, etc. Do not take conversion classes with him. Do not trust him that his conversion court is respected and/or automatically recognized, it is not.
