I am very confused by people who seem to believe you must have Thanksgiving with people outside of your household in order to actually have thanksgiving.

You can just, like, have a meal. With turkey and stuffing. It’s okay. You’re not actually obligated to cancel the pie.

Every time I tweet about Thanksgiving you should remember the following: I never celebrated it growing up because my family are nutso. My family are nutso. My parents and grandparents are all dead and I am an only child.

It's a holiday and my mom is single. She shouldn't have to sit at home alone on a national holiday that is celebrated by every American (mostly). My family and I will be with my mother. You can send the cops if you want.
