a lot of the media horror stories have that in common. One of the Texas stories going around included a person who was visibly sick at the event. We cxld a big bday party trip this summer bc one of us had a scratchy throat

Reminds me of kids that go to school sick (in the olden days when school was in person) because of the “perfect attendance” awards. While mine had to stay home sick b/c they caught stuff from the “perfect” students.
