We never had ventilator shortages. My local pediatric ER converted to a COVID ward and now sits empty. What are we waiting on here? I’d genuinely like an answer. A vaccine? Because if that’s it, our society will be absolutely wrecked in the meantime.
You can call me a Grandma killer. I’m not sacrificing my home, food on the table, all of our docs and dentists, every form of pleasure (museums, zoos, restaurants), all my kids’ teachers in order to make other people comfortable. If you want to stay locked down, do. I’m not.
Doesn’t mean it won’t be done responsibly but I am just. I am done. I feel lied to about the terms of this lockdown and I regret ever trusting that it would be done responsibly.
You’re not getting it. Also the ventilator shortage never happened because it killed so many, so quickly. I’m close to being in an at-risk group. Have a little empathy.

Good point Raina - I would encourage to wxercise your right to volunteer at a nursing home or Covid ward. Good way to get out of the house! Don’t forget to exercise your Constitutional right to NOT wear a mask or PPE. Good Luck!
A lot of conservatives think the way you do. Few have the courage to display it so openly. It rocks that you embrace being a “grandma killer.” I agree, your convenience needs to be the priority, not insignificant lives of grandmas. You have so many more Twitter followers!
Listen Grandma killer, we're all frustrated, but until your friend President Trump has a coherent federal policy for a safe re-opening, we can't do that. Next time you go to one of his White House parties, tell him about test and trace programs
The way other countries have been able to crush the curve is to test, trace, and isolate. The federal government has abdicated all responsibility to do this and left it to the states. You should be upset at the lack of contact tracing, testing, and isolation. That's what works.
Yes, why would we ever follow the epidemiological protocols of every nation who has combatted this successfully?
this is really about the fact that our corrupt capitalist slime government is too inept to give people sufficient money to get through the lockdown period. if you see her later tweets she clarifies. too bad she probably can't wrap her mind around the necessity of UBI.
