38 - 36 = 2% brighter but the noise is also a factor. Need more observations :)

Error bars seem to be around 4 percent of the usual brightness. So it might also have 34% of its usual brightness instead of 38%. Smoothing the previous measurements it's more probable to be around 36% as well IMHO.

Good analysis. I think a shower of high energy neutrinos will be detected a few days (hours?) before the "kaboom" is visible. Thats the key. I hope to see my shadow from a point source before I push in my chips:)

Hmm... fluctuations appear to become smaller and smaller with time, at least if compared with the error bars. Something strange with errors; maybe not only from statistics? How are they calculated?
