the highest daily total yet, but deaths tend to be a lagging indicator (someone admitted to hosptial 7-8 days ago dies today, so it reflects the data increase from a week ago)

ICU admissions falling can be deceptive. As the ICU beds are full at multiple hospitals people that should be in the ICU are being kept on the floors longer.
