As anyone can see, if you read this with integrity, it is not an endorsement of any particular model, as Remainers are trying to claim. Norway model requires free movt, contributions and full compliance with EU. Even with these disadvantages, Norway is happy outside the EU.https://twitter.com/bernardjenkin/status/715557709165248513 …

Norwegians are clearly happy with life outside the EU - only 16% would vote to join http://www.thetimes.co.uk/redbox/topic/the-europe-question/good-news-for-the-brexit-brigade-just-16-of-norway-want-to-join-the-eu …

But it is in the SM. The point I made was in the context of you saying we have to leave the SM, you previously tweeted about Norway before the referendum which strongly implies something less than full EU membership was ok to you. After all why tweet about Norway?

I also find it interesting that instead of recognising that your Norway tweet could be unclear you raise an argument of integrity.

You can’t use a example like Norway and then say it’s not specific about them. What a stupid thing to say.

Well look at that. Africa is developing a Continental Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) complete with single market, customs union and free movement of persons. The world recognises that the EU model for continental trade is highly effective. https://twitter.com/africatrades/status/951997568065695744 …

Rightoh. So you promoted the Norway/EEA model, but wait there are other models yet with even fewer of those pesky "disadvantages" of having a deal with our EU neighbours. There's... well, there's Kosovo, Albania and Bosnia and... Oh Bernard :(

Shared regulation doesn’t reduce trade: it boosts trade. One of chief aims of trade negotiators over last few decades has been about melding rules together, so that goods can cross border without being checked. EU = one of purest examples of this principle http://ow.ly/BM7g30itN8m

Immigration is good for our economy - it increases growth, provides more tax revenue & helps pay for an ageing society. Reducing immigration won't solve the problems, because the reality is the problems were never caused by immigration in the first place http://www.politics.co.uk/comment-analysis/2018/02/08/it-s-time-to-make-the-case-for-free-movement …

Let’s hope that we can do better by achieving a proper Brexit. We must leave all of the institutions of the EU. That’s what leaving means.
