EU defence procurement exemptions never permitted gpvernments to sustain technological advantage. World Trade rules (GPA) do allow for that

The thing that makes utterly no sense on the topic of the Irish border is that if we just leave the EU cannot impose a hard border on us as we will be fully sovereign state.
-
If we trade under WTO rules we have to have a border with customs officers.

So you've copied what the EU has done then? Still doesn't sort the Irish border does it? Why are you living in denial of reality Bernie?

IEA is an American free-market think-tank which loves to deregulate and give us a free for all. More globalisation with them, not less. 'The people' did not vote leave for more inequality in wealth, and dumbed down standards of food and drink. And they like peace.

No - the EU will want the UK out. Last week The Tory MEPS sided with Viktor Orban and Nigel Farage is the UK's Ambassador of crass. They'll be glad to see the back of them. Brace for no deal.
-
And pocket 39 billion , er ok
-
39bn?.....it's really not a lot of money to either side. It's thrown around as a red herring. It just means the other EU27 will have to cover UK commitments
-
Most of those 27 are net recipients, the UK was the second largest net contributor behind Germany, so try again Declan.

At the very least how do you propose to deal with non-trusted traders or individuals? Or to stop people evading the away-from-border checks?
-
Probably the same way we do now.
-
But right now there aren't any duties to pay at the Irish border. In future there will be in at least some cases. I don't think "not bothering" is acceptable.
-
There may be duties, there may not be. In any case, cross border trade is insignificant

You are claiming the IEA "Plan A+" as a credible source, despite the fact it has already been discredited,
