I and some colleagues had dinner in @10DowningStreet last night for a serious conversation about Brexit with advisers. Should have been private, but if PM’s staff are briefing to journalists their version of our talks, we will have to clarify too. (sigh!)

It would have been more effective for committed Brexiteers to refuse the invitation & boycott it as some did. Nos 10 clearly thinks it can buy BREXIT MPs by wineing & dining them. Why wait to brief about it? Sounds like a statagy the EU would use in backroom deals.

Yes, agree totally. We don't want anymore stitch-up deals that insult our intelligence. Those days of relying on a compliant press are gone, with the 'net. We know that May/Robbins et al are going to shackle us as inferiors in irrevocable fashion unless politicians with spine act

Cameron, lied. Osborne, lied. Hammond, still lying. All if the 'establishment' we're on side, even Obama chipped in. And we still voted, by a simple majority, to leave. Don't you think there might be some flaws in your argument?

Are you really this stupid or is someone (Banks? Putin?) paying you to look this stupid. Nobody voted for an ERG Brexit. Not one person. Apart from Putin the only people who will benefit are Slovakian car workers.

Hopefully you told her, and her neighbour, to bugger off. Install an actual conservative, slash tax, reduce the state and get rid of all this hate crime nonsense. 1955 seems an ideal time to get back to. Bobby on the beat and a clip round the ear.

Hope @theresa_may starts listening soon Bernard & chucks Chequers. We didn't vote for Hard or Soft Brexit. We voted to leave which means all their institutions. Not half in half out & a Brexit in name only. Tory voters won't forget or forgive a betrayal & will demand better.
