Wrong, you will never be forgiven, period.

Brexit isn't a path for building trust wuth anyone - remainers or leavers. Building trust would have required 25 years of work, investing in infrastructure, education and training, and explaining immigration, but instead we got guzzling Thatcherisim. Brexit is not a solution

The best way to restore trust is for lying MPs to resign. Like you, for instance, Bernard Jenkin.

Of course, the result of a non-binding advisory referendum where the result was achieved by breaking the law is clearly the way to establish trust. NOT!!

Sorry this has been a disaster from start to finish. I voted leave but have changed my mind now. Money and time wasted on what? Zilch... Taking money from the sick and disabled to pay for all this crap.
-
And I will never vote for the "cons" again. Labour are looking a very attractive offer to me and that's where my vote is going. Too much time being wasted on this. More attention on constituents problems is needed!!

Advocates of leaving the EU will never be forgiven. They only knew what they disliked, did not agree on the alternatives and had no plan for reaching any of them. Their peculiar mixture of emotional zeal and inattention to detail is profoundly un-British & has caused great harm.

You could only restore trust by delivering all those promises that you made so dishonestly during the EU ref campaign. As you cannot deliver a single one of them, you could at least regain a shred of integrity by abandoning the failed

Brexit is the best way to destroy trust. Neighbors and countries around the world are watching and will never fully understand why a country doing so well chose a path of self sabotage. Nor will they forget. However, reverse the damn thing and they will forgive.

Interesting to see your comment about trust Bernard. Struggling to find your condemnation of the Boris Johnson £350m a week lie. I take it you support proper action being taken against boris for misconduct in public office?

You won’t be forgiven for leading the country over the cliff, sunshine. You promised the impossible for your own personal gain, and without a clear plan to deliver. You won’t be forgiven or forgotten.

Brexit is not about Britain’s interest it is about your ego and self interest.

Says the MP who claimed £50,000 on his expenses to rent his sister-in-law’s farmhouse, just over the road from a country home part-owned by his wife.
-
MPs were banned from renting from relatives in 2006. Trust?

So what is your plan Bernard? One which doesn’t involve unicorns and unlimited cake. We have heard nothing but moans from Brexiteers, never any substantive plans. So, what are they? Properly costed and reviewed not just “we’ll trade with America” or “WTO”.
-
Bernie has no plan..... He waits for Tory party donors to tell him what they want.
