What a foolish thing to say, Bernard. Unless you are part of it, the EU owes you nothing. Surely you can buy insulin under WTO rules? No? Try waving your blue passport for speedier service from those bloody foreigners! That’ll teach them!

Brainless Bernard is the logistics genius who suggested that, in order to avoid lorries queuing at borders, they should get in the queue two or three days earlier....... Clever eh?

-
That’s genius! He must be so clever! I’ve been working in procurement all my life and that’s SUCH a GOOD idea! I hadn’t realised that you didn’t have to pay for stuff until AFTER you need it! This will have NO cost or efficiency impacts! Jesus wept, this is what £77k gets us?
-
Not only that, but he seems to believe that the EU will waive through vital medical supplies using just their X ray vision, a sense of common decency and an enduring love for the UK that will traverse all barriers.

It’s not a good look for our post hard Brexit trade teams when we have mercy flights of military aircraft bringing insulin because.........???????
-
The UAE are a very large producer of insulin and good friend of the UK, I'm sure they'd be more than happy to step in should EU pharma companies not wish to export to the UK.
-
It’s nothing whatsoever to do with pharmas wanting to. It’s to do with there being no trading structure within which to trade, transport and cross borders.

If I worked in Dover customs I’d be thinking about a sickie on March 30th

Lets get this straight If anyone dies because of post brexit shortages you brexists will be to blame
-
Brexiter
@Conservatives backed up by Brexiter@UKLabour will get the blame. We’ll make damned sure of that!#StopBrexit#Brexitshamblespic.twitter.com/4yNI2Dazmc

Individual accountability is the remedy. Won't be long after the first victims of the Brexit madness that those who advocated it will be trying out the Nuremberg defense. Didn't fly then, won't fly now - we have to make sure that those responsible are held to account personally!
-
We are following the “will of the people” is the same as “we were only following orders”. It didn’t work at Nuremberg. It shouldn’t work now! MPs! Just be courageous for once, act for the good of the country and Stop Brexit!

Genuine question: Did you or any of your Brexit supporting colleagues ever attempt to find out about how a no deal outcome would, could or might impact something like insulin supply before advocating a 'no deal' stance?
-
Of course not - they assumed that without the fabulous world beating UK - that the EU would have collapsed by Xmas 2016. I think some of them must be really surprised that it hasn't.
-
If/when UK leaves the world's largest & wealthiest trading bloc with enviably high food & traceability of food & environmental standards etc the EU will survive, thrive & prosper. 1/2
-
The UK however, with self interested, out of touch politicians in charge who can't even create an environment that allows biz to get the trains to run on time - I'm not optimistic. Given the screw up they've made of their own pet project why would anyone be?

Remainers: 'Money, Trading Block, Profits, GDP...'
So what about EU's further integration, #EUArmy (Conscription?), clamping down on freedom of speech & expression#Article13 , EU Tax harmonization, All EU members in Euro + Schengen?
#TumbleWeed https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=r23tTxxQPKQ … -
Further integration is good EU army is nonsense Article 13 was voted down by MEPs Tax harmonisation not happening Whatever point you’re trying to make about the Euro and Schengen is also nonsense
