More Tory in-fighting and pressure for no deal. Deeply, deeply depressing. The Bexit elite is doing untold damage to this country. I just hope it can rediscover itself.

We all know about the lacklustre political career of IDS and wonder why he imagines he carries any weight at all. Below is a cut from Wiki about IDS honesty.pic.twitter.com/7n2bWXupkN

A post brexit Britain will see the UK as Trumps lap dog. Already we're dropping our long held embargo on extradition where the death penalty may result.

I loved that interview where they asked IDS what the plan was the day after the referendum, and his voice rose 2 octaves as he squeaked 'we don't have one - they should have one' pointing at n. 10. Bernard, you're a sham. Own it. Soon you'll have to.pic.twitter.com/4tZR1mAanT

So were you and IDS wrong when you said, repeatedly, they would be begging us for a trade deal?

Remember the EU don’t want us to leave. Their strategy is to make leaving so unpalatable we will stay. The flaw is that leaving with no deal will happen and impact other EU economies harder than UK especially Germany. Short term loss for everyone long term loss for EU

Fine words butter no parsnips. To be more crude it’s time to pee or get off the pot. May must go, a leaver must replace her, or the Tories are toast and the next election will make 1997 seem like a tea party. You’ll be out of power for a generation.

If not giving ministers a say on the white paper was unacceptable, why not give the people a say on the final deal? Wouldn't that be democracy?

Bernard with May & Robbins now in charge brexit is as good as dead !, Mogg & Boris do a lot of talking but history will show no actions ... I had hoped this would be a new start for Britain & our kids but now our children should be. Encouraged to get a better life outside U.K

I despise IDS for his starvation of the poor as much as I hate the EU’s for starvation of the Greeks but he writes of the betrayal of the Nation by the PM very well. I know it’s difficult to accept starvation and disability but you reap what you sow.

Still were all in it together as David Cameron said, so transpose the dire warnings received by IDS about UC, starvation, food banks, suicide etc. and you have a more comprehensive picture which I would remind him was and still is ignored and denied. Minister for food banks reqd

So what are you going to do about it? There are a lot of talented people now sitting on the back benches. Are they prepared to simply ‘fiddle while Rome burns’? Come on - we want some action.
