People say socialism is impossible in this country, but over the last 25 years I’ve learned to be skeptical about all claims regarding political impossibilities. After all, not long ago both the legalization of pot and gay marriage seemed as inconceivable as socialism does today.
The difference between gay marriage and pot legalization and socialism is that the latter touches upon redistribution of wealth whereas the former don’t. Still, point taken, but I think there’ll be a lot more resistance when economic (and hence political) power is involved
