Penny Marshall was a comedy wrecking ball. She leaves so much behind, including two of my all-time favorite films. One of the series I have in development is about women who history tried to forget... we must insure that Penny's legacy lives on.

This is the most invasive, inappropriate campaign tool I’ve ever seen. Anyone who involuntarily uploads my personal info and voting preferences into a candidates’ databases is dead to me... as is the candidate promoting that.

The real laugh line in Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein's resignation letter is how he helped make American elections "more secure" by betraying his duty, his principles, the rule of law, and his country to empower the most dangerous criminal in American history. America First, my ass.

Boyz in the Hood arrived at the height of my selfish teenage rebellion, that time in every young life when we think the world revolves around us. Singleton’s films hammered home a POV outside my own, one so grounded and real that I felt it in my bones. His legend will never die.

Some random writing advice in no way referring to any specific show but rather just something to think about: Simply having characters repeat back things previously said to them does not alone given the moment meaning nor does it bring things full circle.

I can’t remember another show that makes this little sense and yet you still enjoy the hell out of it. And what the hell happened to Ghost??

OK, folks, here's the whole damn thing. I don't think I've ever written 18,000 words in a week before. Kinda compulsive, but there it is.

Fox guest on the rise of anti-Semitism since the election of Trump: "'Jews will not replace us' was the chant in Charlottesville" in August 2017, and just the other day the president essentially said they were fair" Fox then suddenly cut to commercial.

Agree with all of this thread. I've read a ton of lower level people, much moreso than last year when we had agents. The only real difference is less time on calls with agents and more time reading. And frankly I hate being on the phone so this is an improvement.

If you received the VERVE email/survey: this is a union-busting tactic. It’s masquerading as “choice” but really it’s an attempted end-around of our union’s collective voice. Our solidarity is what will end the agencies’ conflicted practices—not a survey meant to sow division.

BREAKING: Now we know why Rosenstein—a pro-Trump witness in the obstruction probe targeting Trump—never recused himself from overseeing the Mueller probe when he should have and weighed in on obstruction when he shouldn't have: he told Trump he was on his team and would help him.
