The eagerness of the media to fight, almost every time, on the terrain of Trump's choosing is wild. He decided to turn this into a fight about language, rather than crisis response. Why take that bait so hard?

I don't disagree. What's the answer? I guess my worry is that we wind up amplifying and driving the it. I thought it was smart not to make this about Trump. Who knows.
