There are many kinds of accountability. Thanks @WangCecillia, @andresegura, and other colleagues who helped write the judgment of history.

This is the ugliest use of the pardon power in the history of the republic.

Moyn's critique of tyranny-phobia blind to minorities being tyrannized. The American left is equivalent to CP's being under Brahmin control
-
I agree with you that majority rule can and does hurt minorities. That is not the same problem as "tyranny" in the sense of one-man rule.
-
Of course you can redefine tyranny to mean both things-which is fine, if you don't mind losing the ability to distinguish between them.
-
Tyranny =/= potus exempting rule of law 2 sanction unconstitution discrimination? Your tepid concern abt inequality cute but this war on poc
-
Q is not if
wishes to repress POC, but rather whether he is a tyrant on the order of a Somoza, a Marcos—or if rule of law remains intact? -
I don't think the answer to this is clear—and it's certainly not final.
-
We have suppression of even mention of climate science as well as a pardon for Arpaio. There are some def's of tyranny that this may not fit
