I've never understood or really wanted to understand Red Nose Day. Like I don't know what it's for and every time I see the red noses I just turn the other way. I think it's pretty normal to want to dissociate with anything clown-related, not sure what they were going for here.

Can't remember if I already tweeted this but Chrome for Android (maybe also for iOS, but I doubt it) has an accessibility option that lets you force websites to let you zoom in when you want to. Should be enabled by default, but nice to have this.

I know this probably sounds like a pea-brained musical opinion but I always get annoyed when I buy a synthesizer and the presets are filled up with pads. Who wants to listen to those!!

Is it dangerous to rely on this behavior ? Is the spec going to be changed to reflect that you can rely on distant ancestor width/height ?

Hey people, what's the deal with width/height: 100% in 2022 ? I've always learned that this is basically meaningless if you don't have a width/height defined directly on the parent, but if I test today in browsers, it seems to work to have it defined way up on an ancestor.

Protip: if you're recording a song with analog synthesizers, finish it quickly. If you pick up your project one year later and try to reprogram the patches you had before, they won't sound the same and you'll be twisting random knobs trying to find out what you did wrong.

What's up with these weirdos who show up on every lil Nas x tweet to write "make better music"

"content creation" is such a vapid and meaningless descriptor. Last week someone was explaining their job to me and I had no idea what they were saying and was like "so you produce content?" And they're like "yes exactly!!" Awesome so conversation ended but still idk what you do

I really don't understand the prominence of the "pause" button in audio recording interfaces when you probably just want to either keep recording or "stop" and create a new recording. Who wants a raw recording that has random jumps in it?

The sign of a healthy and non-toxic relationship with Legos is that you spell the plural with an s at the end

I've got a question for people who write and fix end to end tests for apps. When you find a test that fails intermittently (like once every 20 runs), what kind of strategies do you use to make those tests fail more often so you can be more confident after implementing a fix?

I think emoji reactions are meant to save time but I think they make everything take longer because you have to spend time trying to understand what the person meant with this emoji

Last night I dreamt that it was a Saturday and I got a cold call on Teams from the same coworker who always cold calls me, and I ignored the call, and later I found out someone was dying and needed my help and they died because I ignored the cold call.
