currently signing off on a 44-page design doc which makes my brain sad, but its infinitely better than others places i've worked where there is 0 documentation to help me understand how to launch the damn thing. tradeoffs!
This is a super-interesting exploration of how design documents are used at Google. I use something a little more cut down, so this was food for thought for me.
