The Cost of Bitcoin http://stratechery.com/2014/cost-bitcoin/ … How does he make those awesome graphs? Seriously. They're super illustrative and effective.

@monkbent@FiftyThree Turns out that's the most popular answer so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt there. Looks great. Thanks. -
@gte well, seeing as how I’m the author of@stratechery I’m pretty sure I’m right ;) -
@monkbent@stratechery Heh. Sorry, yeah. A bit too dry there. I love the use of that communicative style for graphs. You've done it a lot. -
@gte whenever I do use real numbers, then I use real graphs, e.g. http://stratechery.com/2014/windows-8-cost-complexity/ … -
@monkbent Oh, right. I'm not saying you're phoning in the numbers! A tool that mixed them would be something interesting I think. -
@gte didn’t take it that way :) Some of those visualization ideas are great, but not in my skillset unfortunately -
@monkbent The issue that interests me most, as someone who writes tools, is how to use your visual communication skills while data driven. -
@gte sounds simplistic, but something like tracing could work. Have a computer generated graph as a layer, color on top, remove bottom layer
