@swildstrom@monkbent Don’t think looking up and down between a TV and a phone is a good user experience for apps. Poor controller. -
-
@swildstrom@monkbent Doesn’t seem fine-grained enough for me. Kinect is “low-resolution” motion tracking compared to what I’m imagining. -
@mlchild There’s a lot of room t improv the resolution of Kinect-type sensors. Microsoft is going with good enough for games. -
@swildstrom@mlchild if only Apple had purchased Primesense, the leading company in kinect style technology. Oh wait they did. -
@kirkburgess@swildstrom Indeed. I believe more and more in the interface concept, not as confident in the watch aspect.

@vernalkick Haha indeed. Wouldn’t bet on that phrasing, but could be fun.

@SammyWalrusIV@monkbent I don’t deny it’s messy. Band tight around the wrist could provide sufficient control like https://www.thalmic.com/en/myo/ -
-
@SammyWalrusIV@monkbent I think sitting on the couch and mostly just pointing would not be that tiring. Don’t need to extend arm.

@steven_odb@monkbent I agree. Kinect is unrefined. Voice is shaky. A band like Myo might be good enough. https://www.thalmic.com/en/myo/ -
@mlchild btw the Talk Show link in your piece is fubar. -
@steven_odb Thanks, fixed!
