@monkbent why should they fork android vs skin it like samsung? Nokia’s hardware has always been their strongest point. -
@UNameUNameUName they wouldn’t want to deliver google services
-
@monkbent but the services they compete with google like bing and hotmail aren’t that profitable are they? I know bing isn’t anyway.

@monkbent By the time Microsoft has finished adopting Android, Google would be ready for Chrome OS. -
@edwk why would Google want to emulate the Windows 8 strategy? -
@monkbent Chrome/ChromeOS is just a better long term platform. Look at where Google is investing in terms of Dev Relations, tools, etc..

@monkbent@charlesarthur Abandoning C# and MS frameworks on mobile would be a risky strategy. Accelerate MS tech becoming the new COBOL -
@micahjarrett@charlesarthur I take it you don’t like WinRT? -
@monkbent@charlesarthur It is unquestioned amongst .Net devs MS tech is best—having to learn Java/Android might call that into question -
@micahjarrett@monkbent you'd be using all the devs who already code for Android. Quite a few of them, it seems *counts apps*
