@monkbent Wikipedia article sucks - N73 is bundled with N70 & 72 in 2005 but represents the bulk of those 35M sales, mostly in 2006. -
@__MarkW__ good to know. Do you have a reference I can link to? -
@monkbent Sadly not, Nokia was secretive with individual device data but I worked on the tail end of the N73 project, so I'm very sure. -
@__MarkW__ I believe you - would just like something to point to if I update :) -
@monkbent …Tero Ojanpera personally told me the N73 was the best selling S60 3rd Edition device of all time, comfortably above 15 million. -
@__MarkW__ pearl was 15 mil too, though... -
@monkbent Sorry, no exact figure but wikipedia says 45 million for N70 + N72 + N73. N73 was by far the biggest seller of those 3. -
@monkbent http://www.businessweek.com/stories/2007-02-27/nokia-tops-in-2006-smartphone-salesbusinessweek-business-news-stock-market-and-financial-advice … Those Wikipedia figures are device lifetime - BB shipped 6M smartphones in 2006, Nokia 38M. - 6 more replies
