@TheRomit sure, but the effect was to stop MSFT from leveraging its DOS monopoly. The ultimate critique would be the same -
@monkbent you would never know if that could have translated to non-DOS-based products or not. -
@TheRomit maybe. I'm sympathetic but it's the Internet that loosened the grip and mobile that did them in. -
@monkbent those two I agree with, and are irreversible as points in history but can’t imagine what could’ve been if msft had a free reign.
