@monkbent nice piece. I assume the $99 less the carriers subsidize, the lower they can charge for iPhone contracts = more kids getting oneThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@monkbent 5C brings opportunities for two or more capacities that Apple never tried for its 1-2 year old iPhones.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@monkbent new-looking iPhone? A6 tech? A5 gone for all iPhones in 2013-14? I can see Apple having _a_ $0 5C, considering. Maybe 8GB versionThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@monkbent "I think that the overall demand for “old” iPhones is much lower than demand for “new” iPhones." Sales data suggests otherwise. -

@monkbent Awesome piece. One quibble: it *is* possible to use existing phones for 2FA. Google, GitHub, etc use app to generate TOTP tokens. -
@liggs I mean 2-factor for logging into the phone itself, not an app -
@monkbent Aah, I see… my apologies… that makes much more sense.
