People in emerging markets like China, etc., had no problem paying $600 for PCs back in the day. 21% CAGR at one point in time there.

@BenBajarin a $200 smartphone is much closer to a $600 one than a Netbook is to a full PC. $300 even more so. -
@monkbent really depends on the usage. In a simplistic view yes. But I believe big segments of China have an evolving view of smartphones -
