Issue is that even from a ‘horizontal player’ perspective, Google consistently makes horrendous brand positioning / product design errors.
@zcichy not terrible actually. Google has been promoting the Chrome brand for some time now. I'd bet they have research showing it resonates

@zcichy in general, I fully agree that Google doesn't really understand branding and marketing. It's a fundamental weakness.
