The funny thing about Google iOS apps is how ambivalent both Apple and Google must feel towards them. A little like MS Office for Mac

@BenedictEvans I think MS cares about Windows much more than Google cares about Android... -
@BenedictEvans and I think the relative quality of the apps reflects that. Mac Office has always been behind, and never at parity. -
