I have no desire to see Maryland or Rutgers in the BigTen.If we're going to expand to the ACC, give me Duke, UNC, or UVA.
@nirajvpatel I think @ShaileshIngale is on to something. It's the alumni angle. True, it's NJ, but plenty close for 1 game a year x 4

@monkbent@shaileshingale rutgers? C'mon, big ten alums are everywhere. MSU and purdue can't even fill their home stadiums. -
@nirajvpatel@shaileshingale I agree with both of you by the way. Just playing devil's advocate. -
@monkbent@shaileshingale I would have taken a&m and Missouri in a heartbeat over rutgers and Maryland. Just my opinion -
@nirajvpatel@shaileshingale key is to think of Rutgers as the NYC version of Northwestern -
@monkbent@shaileshingale how far is rutgers by subway from manhattan? -
@nirajvpatel@shaileshingale 15 minute train ride from Penn Station -
@monkbent@shaileshingale how is Missouri or A&Ms academics materially different from Nebraska or rutgers or Maryland.
