For those watching hospitalizations, #coronavirus hospitalizations in Massachusetts jumped up 27% over the weekend, as new cases rose 73% from last Monday:
-1,243 new cases (717 last Monday)
-7 deaths (4 last Monday)
-145 hospitalizations (114 Friday)
-1.65% positive rate

I’m going to be honest, I was expecting a much worse report! 7 deaths over a 3 day period? Horrible for those poor people! But nearly what it was 6 months ago!

I know, I had my back-of-envelope 3-day estimate at over 2100 cases. Pleasantly surprised to see fewer than expected.
