I look forward to Hogg's apologies to Republicans ("sick f***ers"), Dana Loesch (she was "hypocritical and disgusting" for criticizing Broward Sheriff Scott Israel), and Marco Rubio (he said Rubio was bribed by the NRA to give away children's lives)

I was Hogg's age when I started writing a syndicated column. I got hammered repeatedly -- and some of it was justified. When you join the public discourse, you take on slings and arrows. That's even more true if you decide to maliciously malign your opponents, as Hogg has.

Maybe is Republicans stopped thinking bullying is a form of debate, this wouldn't be happening. And maybe conservatives with massive platforms should stop whining that a kid fights back hard after their bullying.

I don't understand, we keep getting told by the left that these kids are brilliant, they have the ideas to change this world, that we should even give them the right to vote at 16, but as soon as someone says something neg about them we get, "they're just kids, leave them alone"

And when I was 17 I had a syndicated column and got my ass handed to me repeatedly in far nastier ways than Ingraham tut-tutted him. This is the nature of the political scene. It has been for decades.
