So you agree that had the former administration done what was necessary a year ago, these potential long-term issues would have been mitigated?

And THAT is the result of you Ben. When you don’t take COVID seriously the lockdowns go for longer than needed. I’ve been in lockdown for about a year now and it’s because my fellow Floridians don’t do a social distancing and then COVID cases surge
-
Lockdown for a year? Yikes.

The moment covid hit the world their lives would be different, just like the plague or WWII, historical events are going to effect kids, whether they’re affected by lockdowns and isolation or dead adults everywhere they look, they weren’t gonna get out of this without trauma

As a speech pathologist working with language impaired children, masks have been severely detrimental to auditory processing and expressive language skills. They impede self regulation skills and affect the ability for a child to ground himself.
-
These are kids that are language impaired (before any suspected effects of masking) right? Is there any evidence that kids who are not language impaired otherwise will have difficulty w/lang dev because of masks? Do blind children have issues w/lang dev?

I don't think a lot of families wore masks at home nor did a lot of actors wear them on TV. The issue in the post must be extremely rare and have more to do with parenting under the lockdown.
-
Even in Zoom the teachers didn't wear masks. That study makes no sense.
