The philosophy of ACAB is a perfectly logical result of the proposition that the police are systemically racist.
When you can't name a racist policy, when you chalk up all disparity to discrimination, when every incident of police evil becomes evidence of broader systemic racism, any attempt to dissociate "good cops" from the racist system in which they are complicit becomes untenable.

unironically yes, the majority of police calls would be better handled by someone with competence in handling difficult social situations. when I'm having a mental breakdown or other highly stressful situation, i dont think some guy screaming at me with a gun is a good solution

The left are perfectly fine with assuming that all cops are bastards, but have a problem with generalization when it comes to the black community. How about all generalization is bad, not just the examples that suit the lefts argument.
