I see that Twitter has immediately adopted the line that this Florida data analyst was fired so that Gov. Ron DeSantis could censor data. This is a wild jump in a variety of ways. Let us count them.https://www.floridatoday.com/story/news/2020/05/18/censorship-covid-19-data-researcher-removed-florida-moves-re-open-state/5212398002/ …

So basically, the story is someone got fired and made a thus-far-unsupported allegation of a cover-up. The person who got fired won't do interviews. The story then quotes several people who don't know anything about what happened speculating at a cover-up.

Twitter's big takeaway: this person was definitely fired to obscure data. So here's the problem: if Florida, the state most covered by the media (outside of Georgia) as an EVILDOING KILL GRANDMA STATE, were experiencing a serious uptick in cases and deaths, wouldn't we know?

So, after being told it takes 2 weeks to identify any trends (justification for extended lockdowns) we’re to believe that in one week people have gone out, contracted COVID, gotten ill, seen a doctor, been tested, received results, and had those results put in data sets? Cool.
Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
