I want to know what he means by "liberate." Does he mean go back to work with social distancing if you are at low risk? Does he mean go ahead and buy seeds in Michigan? Does he mean spit on each other?

I'm actually critical of the WH plan as TOO conservative in approach (e.g., 14-day reduction period will reverse when lockdown is relieved; temperature checks will be ineffective when covid-19 is most transmissible asymptomatically; it's too optimistic about what testing can do).

But shouting "LIBERATE THIS BLUE STATE!" without even saying what such a liberation looks like, or why it should happen before that state has even fulfilled the first condition YOU LAID OUT (Michigan hasn't seen a 14-day reduction?) is nutty.

Wanna rip Whitmer's incompetent heavy-handedness? Do it. Wanna shout at the moon? Dumb.

Leadership at this time would look reassuring and bold, not volatile and self-defeating. A strong message that we ought to re-open, with evenly-applied standards and a sober assessment of risks, would be great. "ARGLE BARGLE MCSCREAMY BLARGHABLARGHA" ain't it.
