So you're saying the price of the croissant wouldn't increase if you raised the minimum wage? My local pizza place increased their prices because of exactly this, they even put a sign up about it.

When they did this in the Soviet Union, inflation was through the roof, but political pressure didnt allow them to raise the price of food (the Croissant) and so food producers stopped producing and the people starved or went to the black market.
