Remember when Katie Couric Interviewed pro-gun people in a "real" documentary and it was edited in a way to make it look like the pro-gun people were idiots? None of the people to are decrying this piece cared for the truth then.

For gods sake I got all of my wisdom teeth pulled today and watched this on the way home high on pain medication while still waking up from anesthesia and could still tell it’s an obvious edit that satires her stupidity.

Colbert cuts up interviews to give Trump out of context answers as the cold open all the time! Which is totally fine because it’s....comedy. Somebody on the right does the same exact thing and it “blurs the line.” Grow up The Verge

Colbert does this on his comedy show in front of an audience laughing at the obvious satire. This clip was edited to look like a real interview without any pretense explaining that it was satire.

It’s extremely obvious it’s satire. If you look on her page for two minutes you’d see she posts these videos all the time. You are the guy who needs warning labels not to eat tide pods.
