    We are truly saddened by the tragic loss of Wendy Rieger. She was such a beautiful light, so full of life. A true DC icon, Wendy will be deeply missed. Our condolences to her family.

    After today's memorial service, Bruce Johnson’s family stopped by Ben’s to take a photo at the mural and have lunch. We so enjoyed spending time with them. Bruce, you will forever be loved.

    I was so sorry to hear Bruce Johnson, who was a reporter and anchor at for over 40 years, died yesterday. Exactly four years ago this morning, he joined me for a special broadcast at commemorating 50 years since Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated.
