If 99.9% of social scientists agree that humans are the products of natural and sexual selection, why do so many accuse evolutionary psychology of being woo? Is there really any other way to understand human nature but take an evolutionary approach?

Very good, very approachable, and challenging.

It’s an interesting book, though a lot of it is still speculative. A very different way of looking at history than say Guns, Germs and Steel. I’m in the camp though that some knowledge may be dangerous when you price in inevitable human irresponsibility and tribalism
