Man ‘splains Twitter to female professor with ~20x the number of followers
#headdesk -
- gender - number of followers - appeal to authority Interesting insight into your values. Thanks for sharing.

Do you really think it is remotely conceivable that a professor with ~20x your follower count, who has been on Twitter almost the same time as you, would NOT know threading? You ludicrously presume this is some newbie you can school. And it almost never happens to male experts.

I think that you immediately tried to make this about gender and that that says a lot about you and how you see the world.

To answer your earlier question, yes, it's conceivable. I only just learned about bookmarks on Twitter today thanks to someone pointing it out. Thanks for the recommendation. I'll check them out.

:) And on that note, have a good evening

if you knew how to speak politely you’d have more friends.

Oh Dave. Don't be silly. Threaded tweets are better. Getting upset on someone else's behalf, because I pointed it out, doesn't solve anything. Be less fragile.
-
you were rude to someone for no reason. Learn from it.
-
This certainly seems to be a case of offence being taken rather than given. I haven't been rude. I made a suggestion. You are an overly sensitive interloper.
