1/2 I think you're suggesting a charter or federation for all Komodo chains? However Komodo's tech can be used by anyone. We don't endorse, partner or verify. This sounds like a form of endorsement and which may incur liability.

2/2 If we create laws we then need to monitor, enforce and adjudicate. I'm not sure that's what we want to invest resources into. But if you sent to JL777 then he'll make the final decision. I'm only relaying my opinion.

Ben when you write a CODE, it is LAW. Without CODE how can you write a BlockChain program Mate?!
Every KOMODO BlockChain has its own CODE, hasn't it?! I've already sent the Protocol to JL777c.3 replies 0 retweets 2 likes -

I agree the code is law. Why need more regulation even if voluntary, which we then need to enforce and maintain? For what benefit? I'm happy you've sent it to JL777. You asked my opinion so I'm sharing it with you

My understanding is that the chains are already independent. You can even look at
@VerusCoin to see for a project that's adopted and developed code. They didn't need to ask permission. And even if we hadn't given permission they could still develop. It is open source.pic.twitter.com/fDRko9ntKZ

They are independent as much KOMODO tech allows, we want to see KOMODO tech's Constitution how much it allows chains to do what they want.

We don't follow any forced Komodo rules, because we have complete control over our own source code. We CHOOSE to be compatible with the cross-chain work they have led. We are independent and have found KMD devs to be helpful, cooperative and open to our suggestions.

So is this like a KMD clone that wants value for their tokens? Is it premined?

It's a totally fair launch. There was no ICO either. I wrote a pocket guide for them because I'm a fan. https://medium.com/@benohanlon/a-pocket-guide-to-verus-coin-f0c86e976c33?source=linkShare-19de69686e7-1534881491 …. Tell me what you think?
