1/2 I think you're suggesting a charter or federation for all Komodo chains? However Komodo's tech can be used by anyone. We don't endorse, partner or verify. This sounds like a form of endorsement and which may incur liability.

2/2 If we create laws we then need to monitor, enforce and adjudicate. I'm not sure that's what we want to invest resources into. But if you sent to JL777 then he'll make the final decision. I'm only relaying my opinion.

Ben when you write a CODE, it is LAW. Without CODE how can you write a BlockChain program Mate?!😇Every KOMODO BlockChain has its own CODE, hasn't it?! I've already sent the Protocol to JL777c.

I agree the code is law. Why need more regulation even if voluntary, which we then need to enforce and maintain? For what benefit? I'm happy you've sent it to JL777. You asked my opinion so I'm sharing it with you 🙏🏻

My understanding is that the chains are already independent. You can even look at @VerusCoin to see for a project that's adopted and developed code. They didn't need to ask permission. And even if we hadn't given permission they could still develop. It is open source.pic.twitter.com/fDRko9ntKZ

I think @ChevalierdesMot means the codes/laws of each community. Suppose you have a community and you use Komodo fork/change which is easy as being open source. What would be your constitution? Or where in the blockchain code would you put?

I want to understand the purpose of a written constitution, how it might be implemented, and the benefit of investing resources into it's creation and maintenance. I don't think I fully understand the idea. It might be nice to have but why is it needed?

And if someone forked KMD let them consider their own rules. Or is this constitution a template or "best practices"? If so, why do we want to tell them what to do? @Twitter @jack think it's their job to socially engineer users. What they ought to do is be an agnostic platform.

Constitution don't work for States, let alone for a blockchain. How do you enforce it? Impossible. The project must grow and scale far far beyond the initial group of founders and enthusiasts, the only rule is to fork or build a parallel chain that suits your ideal

Each fork may be considered as a different constitution. I understand Interoperable as a MultiLaw protocol joining different communities with different constitutions. I think @ChevalierdesMot wants each community to explicitly defend for their constitutions....

There is a project called @MyBitNation. What do you think of that project as MultiLaw one. Btw, they are dependent on Ethereum blockchain which means technologically impossible. What about as ideas? They suggested a constitution in there.

Komodo as set of tools provides commmunities with sufficient tools for freedom. But to have independent LAWS, the communities have to WILL according to a MultiLaw protocol. Komodo tools BRIDGE those communities having their free smart contracts with interoperable way.

Komodo technologies provide different communities with the tools to have their own LAWS/CODES. They can work independently. They are working on how to produce smart contracts with examples in an independent way. Each blockchain community using Komodo tools can have their own LAWS

Therefore, @KomodoPlatform community at Discord is diversified. Because Komodo bridges all communities (even Ethereum with #ERC20), the community has working groups on many different blockchains. For example, @Chainzillaio another fork from Komodo is aiming to make bridging easy.

In that case to test if KOMODO provides necessary and sufficent tools to develop a Chain with a Constitution in agreemnet with the protocol one has to set up at least a test Constitution according to the Protocol and implement it on KOMODO BlockChain to see if it works.
