Ok, dickhead, I did this politely to someone else earlier, but now I'm going to rinse you. Prepare.https://twitter.com/stillgray/status/898042049261326337 …
I've watched it unfold. AS and ZQ's behaviour. I don't think we're going to find any common ground here if you actually feel they have integrity. GG was about ethics. There are bad actors on both sides (look at current politics) but that's been used to whitewash the whole thing.

Whether or not harassment or misogyny exists doesn't mean GG wasn't about ethics. Plenty of misandry was present too. Legit concerns and issues were ignored. Journos didn't want to address them. A smear campaign and propaganda ensued. Amazing to watch. Gamers knew what was up.

You mean massage and mystic gamers harassing Zoe Quinn latched on to a convenient excuse 8 months into the harassment campaign.
-
You seem civil and intelligent. I'm going to end the discussion here. Don't want to waste your time in trying to persuade me of something that I'm not interested in debating. Much better for you to enjoy your Saturday

I don't think we're going to find any common ground here if you ignore basic provable facts: Dec 2013: Zoe Quinn releases Depression Quest. Harassment begins. Aug 2014: 1st mention of ethics in journalism in debunked "Zoe Post" by her ex-bf
-
I haven't disputed whether harassment existed. I say that it was over exaggerated and used as a foil to counter legit concerns. People who were raising legit questions were lumped in with the bad behaviour of a few (inc black flag). This was a deliberate derailing of GG.
-
It wasn't just "a few" it was pervasive and overwhelming. Any attempt to retroactively justify it based on a debunked and retracted post by a jilted ex-bf. Is sham retconning at best
