Permission blockchains are just not a useful thing. If you have a way to securely grant authority to a node then literally everything you might want to do with a blockchain is more efficiently and simply designed and implemented through other mechanisms.

At some point a bunch of people came to the false understanding that you need a blockchain to do fault tolerant distributed systems and/or cryptographic integrity and now everything is on the road to being twice as broken.

I can't wait until my mind works at full capacity again. I still don't have the focus to do sustainable work, but I read a lot, and I'm quickly running out of good ideas to read about.
