Perhaps if he’d do a press conference this wouldn’t be an issue.
I mean- do you really find it acceptable that POTUS won’t answer basic questions in a public forum?

Hey trump was tweeting it out yesterday so only appropriate for a journalist to ask questions
-
Exactly. I mean they have a job to do and he has questions to answer. What is he so afraid of?

-
I don't need media gatekeepers. He answers to the voters, not these asshats.
-
I’m a voter. I’d like to see him do an open press conference. It’s really not much to ask, I’d like to think we can all agree on that regardless of your political views.
-
Again, I don't need my information filtered through a partisan media that mostly consists of pundits, opinion writers, and political activists (on all sides). I'd like him to continue to use social media, bypass these folks, and speak directly to the people. Thanks for the input!
-
Ok- so a press conference would be ideal. Everyone gets to ask questions in an open forum. Right?

The president was coloring with kids?...Whew. Finally, a book he can make it all the way through!
-
The only book you've read lately is What Happened?
-
Actually, I haven't read that one. So much for pegging me as a Hillary worshiper...
-
You're likelya Bernie socialist who probably didn't vote and you've been in complete meltdown mode since 11/9/16.
-
If you don't guess right the first time just keep guessing. Way easier than asking and pursuing a conversation in a civil tone.
-
Oh yeah...you liberals should teach us about civility. That liberal woman was saying our highly educated, multi-billionaire, NY Times best selling author President can only read a coloring book. I noticed you didn't ask HER to be civil.
-
I missed that, but you're right that was pretty crappy.
-
Thank you.

Well maybe if he gave an actual press conference once in awhile...
-
He doesn't speak publicly enough? Sanders doesn't enough briefings?
-
Holding rallies and holding press conferences are two different things. All the people at the rally are there to support him, but at a press conference he has to answer questions from both sides of the aisle, not just the one that will paint him in the light he's grown used to.
