When you are compressing with lzss there is a 4096 byte window you can reference in the output. Standard lzss fills this with 0x00. For some troll reason iBEC fills it with 0x20. If you decompress and compress a kernel image with standard lzss the result will be smaller.

So you don’t happen to have a version for S8000 aka the Samsung version of the 6S do you? I just want to be able to get into pwned DFU got developmental purposes & finding offsets & diffing the entire SecureRom file is taking forever.

I have an s8000 and I’m going to have a look at it. The exploit I use is not from modifying ipwndfu but rather from looking at the usb packets checkra1n sends and then doing something similar. I’m not sure if checkra1n people would be happy if I shared this.

To clarify, are you trying to show that you’re able to install an iOS without it being signed? The reason I ask is, 12.4 already is available for iPhone 6, but I’m sure you knew that.
