This seems like it conflates “producing offspring” with one or either of “performing childcare as a primary responsibility” or “having a committed partner who takes on childcare as a primary responsibility”.

Prediction 1: If you have a partner who does substantially more than 50% of your combined family, household, and community tasks, then you are MORE likely to do great things in science, business, etc. And that if male this, in turn, is MORE likely to be the case if you have kids

Historically maybe not, but I'm unsure about today. It also depends how involved you want to be, industrial magnates weren't exactly known for that.

Historical great people often had a partner who took on the bulk of the housework. Most modern ambitious men I know prefer to marry ambitious women who don't want to take primary responsibility for kids, and the couple doesn't want to pay for childcare.
