In Latin America, the pandemic will not only favor large firms over PyMEs, but also subsidized state-owned enterprises, like Aerolíneas Argentinas, over private sector competitors, such as Argentina's new low-cost carriers, withering absent subsidies or stimulus.

Indeed, this is already playing out. Last month, I moderated a panel with @flybondioficial's COO, who painted a grim picture of Argentina's aviation sector. Today, Bloomberg reports that state-owned Aerolíneas Argentinas expects $880 million in subsidies this year.
