    Can we just all calm down re/ OmG eLEctIOn HAckInG!? This "extremely serious vulnerability” sounds like an encryption strength issue or a lack of cert validation. Important to fix, but no vulnerability scanners would rate these as high severity. Both require MitM access.

    Used an example from re/ how many monitoring tools are policy-neutral (both good & bad traffic captured), so you can easily flood yourself with non-problems. You must tune!

    To all the academic security teachers: please stop giving your students assignments to run "Bro" to generate alerts and find "bad traffic." is inherently policy-neutral. Vern built it to generate transaction logs for network traffic, not decide what is good or bad.
