Weird. It has the EMV chip in the photos -- I thought those worked with contactless systems by default.
Mastercard spokeswoman just confirmed to me that the Apple Card physical credit card won't be contactless. Oh well.

Nah apparently it needs a whole rfid type antenna built inside it. Hard to do with titanium.

Why would it need to be? If contactless is available, you use your phone, surely? The card is for when it’s not.
