It's just raw intrinsic reward. When you mess up it's your fault, when you can't do something there's usually a new technique you need to figure out. My biggest problem with it is my hands get too sweaty playing it hahaha

Skills you have to learn: jumping, moving your arms safely for a grab, swinging side-to-side, managing distance to your body, friction of different maneuvers etc. Once you start listing them out it's really surprising how explicit/numerous they are

The funniest thing about Getting Over It is the satisfaction of completing an obstacle for the first time is always rapidly counterbalanced by the knowledge it's about to get so much worse

Been hacking away at that mountain for months now and I finally made a lot of real progress today. Very rewarding to improve at a new control scheme (much like Tumbleseed)!
